Shea butter also helps protect the skin from exterior free-radicals and the fatty acids (linoleic, oleic, palmitic & stearic acid) that it contains help restore the skin barrier to heal, soften and hydrate the skin. The hydrolyzed silk moisturizes the skin, by helping the skin barrier retain moisture. This improves the skin's elasticity and creates a healthy radiant complexion. Vitamin E helps repair skin damage, especially from the sun and nourishes the skin. CBD is well known for being anti-inflammatory. With skin, CBD affects the sebaceous oil glands, reducing the oil production and may reduce swelling and pain from breakouts or irritations; this may help conditions like eczema and psoriasis.
